In this area you will find all the information you need to place a classified ad in the FICPA’s bimonthly publication, Florida CPA Today, and on the FICPA Web site.
General Policies and Guidelines for Classified Ads
There are several ways to place your classified ad on Florida CPA NetLinkTM and in the magazine:
- E-mail your ad and credit-card payment to communications@ficpa.org.

Mail your ad and payment to the Florida Institute of CPAs, Attn: Communications Department, P.O. Box 5437, Tallahassee, FL 32314.
- Fax your ad and credit-card payment to (850) 222-8190, Attn: Communications Department.
Payment must be received with all ads. Ads that do not have payment accompanying them will not be published until payment is received.
Member price is $95 for a 35-word minimum ad; $2.70 for each additional word. Nonmember price is $105 for a 35-word minimum ad; $3.00 for each additional word. Words can be bolded for $1 per word.

File number counts as two words. Web site address counts as one word.
File No. Replies: Reply to the “FILE NO.” in care of the Florida Institute of CPAs, P.O. Box 5437, Tallahassee, FL 32314, and the letter will be immediately forwarded unopened. Please be sure to include the file number on the outside of the envelope or it will need to be opened to determine contents before forwarding.
Ads may be placed in one of the following categories:

- Practices Wanted
- Practices for Sale
- Miscellaneous
- Office Space

For an additional $30, a company logo can be posted on the Web site with the ad. (All classified ad images/logos must be no larger than 70 x 70 pixels in GIF format and can be no larger than 5 KB.)
- The classified images for the Web site should be submitted in an electronic format (disk, e-mail, etc.) ready for publication on the Web site. Ads may be e-mailed to communications@ficpa.org.

Animated GIFs are not accepted as classified logos. Animation, Flash and other special advertising effects may be accepted through our Web site banner advertising program. Contact Marketing Manager Drew Miller via e-mail for information and rates.

The FICPA reserves the right to reject images that do not meet its qualifications or detracts from ethical or professional standards.
Ads are due three working days prior to the date you wish for them to be posted, and will run concurrently with the upcoming magazine. For example, ads that are received on a Monday will be posted by Thursday of the same week. Ads that do not have payment, however, will not be posted until payment is received.
Ads that are paid for by credit card will be posted on the Web site within one regular business working day of placement. Ads that are sent prior to the magazine publication deadline will be published in the magazine according to the set magazine schedule. To place your ad by credit card, contact the Communications Department at (800) 342-3197 (within Florida only) or (850) 224-2727.
Acceptable methods of payment: check or credit card (Visa/MasterCard only). Checks may be made out to the FICPA, with Classified written on the memo line of the check.

Advertisers may request that their ad be pulled from the Web site before the scheduled termination date. However, refunds will not be granted once the ad has been posted on the Web site or published in the magazine, nor can ad prices be prorated based on actual length of time an ad is posted.
