Ethics Self-Study Courses

The FICPA and our partners AICPA, Gleim Publications and Surgent McCoy now have ethics self-study courses available which meet the Florida Board of Accountancy ethics requirement.

FICPA “Ethics: Protecting the Integrity of Florida CPAs”

The FICPA self-study course is designed to help Florida licensees meet the new requirements for ethics continuing education. The course addresses both internal and external issues faced by CPAs such as professional standards, ethical conduct, client communication and independence. The course complies with the ethics requirements for Florida CPAs set forth by the Florida Board of Accountancy.

The FICPA self-study course contains the course manual and exam in paper-based format.  To order the FICPA Ethics self-study course by phone, call the FICPA Member Service Center today at (800) 342-3197 (in Florida) or (850) 224-2727. If you want to order by fax, please fax the PDF form to (850) 681-2433 (fax) or via USPS to the FICPA at PO Box 5437, Tallahassee, FL 32314.  The member price is $75 per copy and $100 for non-members (plus tax, shipping and handling*).

AICPA’s “Florida Ethics: Non-Attest Services, Integrity, and Objectivity”

Gleim Publications “Florida Ethics”

Gleim Publications offers a four hour ethics CPE course online. The course is designed to give a basic understanding of the ethical standards which CPAs are expected to uphold. This course specifically reviews the requirements of Chapters 455 and 473, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 61H1, Florida Administrative Code.
