Florida Ethics
Florida licensed CPAs who report their CPE hours on or after June 30, 2006, are now required to complete four hours in ethics applicable to the practice of public accounting. The Florida Board of Accountancy must approve the providers of this course. The FICPA has an approved course in a variety of formats to help you meet your ethics course needs. The ethics course requirement must be completed before taking the biennial laws and rules exam. The law and rules exam will still be open book and provided on paper or online, the ethics course will give the licensees the knowledge they need to successfully pass the exam.
This page includes links to upcoming ethics courses, ethics self-study programs, the history of the Florida ethics requirement and frequently asked ethics questions (FAQs).
