ABOUT OUR DISTINGUISHED SPEAKERS:

RUSSELL FRAWLEY is Senior Manger - Technical Accounting at Burger King, where he is responsible for accounting policy, accounting for significant non-routine transactions, and interpretation and implementation of accounting guidance. Russell joined Burger King in November 2005 and was a key contributor to the Company’s initial public offering in May 2006. Russell started his career in public accounting and has worked for public and non-public companies here in Miami in the homebuilding and biomedical industries. He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Miami. He is a CPA.

H. VICKI BRAIL is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Nationally Certified Geriatric Care Manager. She specializes in the team approach with other professionals to help their clients prepare for the future care, finances and well being of the Elders in our community. Ms. Brail is a national consultant in the Guardianship arena as well as with clients that have Special Need Trusts (Medicaid Protected Trusts). She and her staff are bilingual and available 24 hours a day to assist you and your clients.

CHRISTOPHER D. WESTGATE, MBA, has experience with Mergers and Acquisitions, valuations, public and private sector financing, succession and strategic planning, buy-side and sell-side advisory. In addition Chris has been a founder and participant in several startup businesses. Chris is a former US Navy Officer. In addition, he brings discipline, temperament and focus honed from more than eighteen years in Aviation, as a Captain and First Officer of Boeing 727’s, 737’s, 757’s, 767’s and other aircraft. Mr. Westgate is fluent in Spanish and has extensive international business and consulting experience. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, with concentrations in Economics, Finance and Strategic Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
