Note:  For a firm to conduct a Certified Audit, the individual responsible for the engagement must earn the CFST designation before the firm may begin performing Certified Audits.  The CFST designation is gained once a CPA completes the Certified Audit Program, passes the Certified Audit Examination, and possess an Active Florida CPA license. 

QAS Sponsorship

The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a Quality Assurance Service (QAS) sponsor of continuing professional education.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complains regarding QAS program sponsors may be addressed to the NASBA, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN, 37219-2417.

QAS sponsorship applies to self-study programs only; QAS sponsors are able to award one credit for every 50 minutes of self-study.
