Catherine Thornton

Catherine is a senior with the firm of Brown Thornton Pacenta & Company, P.A. in Pensacola. She provides audit and taxation services to small business, governmental, and not-for-profit organizations. Catherine earned her BSBA in Accounting and completed her fifth year from the University of West Florida.

This is Catherine’s first year as a member on the FICPA’s committee. In her community, Catherine is currently the Treasurer of the local Pensacola Young Professionals organization, and is chairing the Grants for Excellence Committee in the Junior League of Pensacola. In addition, she is serving as a board member of the Friends of the Saenger Theater, and is a member of the 2008-2009 Leadership Pensacola program.

Catherine and her fiancé are currently planning their wedding in November, and enjoy traveling and playing with their dog in her spare time.
