Joey Epstein Appointed to Audit Committe
Of Broward Health

March 5, 2008 (Fort Lauderdale, FL) – Joey Epstein has been appointed to the Audit Committee of Broward Health, formerly known as North Broward Hospital District.  Epstein is a Director with RSM McGladrey, the fifth largest U.S. provider of accounting, tax and business consulting services.*

In addition to also serving on the Audit Committee of the Broward County School Board, Epstein is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and FICPA).  He is also a member of the FICPA Board of Governors and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Main PAC of the FICPA.  Additionally, Epstein has served 15 years as a member and former Chairman of the FICPA State Legislative Policy.

Epstein is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Florida, serves on the Board of Directors and as Finance Chair of ChildNet.  He is on the Auxiliary Council of the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital and is active in the Legal Aid Executive Council and Capital Campaign Committee of Broward County,  Board of Directors and Treasurer of Friends of South Side, Inc., and Treasurer of Broward Days, Inc.
