Dear Fellow Section Members:
On behalf of the FICPA, welcome to the newly formed Accounting and Auditing Section.
As part of the FICPA’s vision of generating greater member participation through its Web site, the idea of developing an online community to facilitate the exchange of information, knowledge and ideas for Florida CPAs in auditing and accounting services has turned into the A&A Section.

Accounting and Auditing is FICPA’s newest online community of practice! This Section is dedicated to providing Section members with resources encompassing numerous accounting and auditing topics through the sharing of knowledge and other valuable and timely information.

Start a Discussion With Over 80 A&A Section Members
The Listserv is your place to ask questions and let other practitioners know
what is on your mind. To start a discussion, just follow the steps below:

Click on “Listserv”
or “Access
Listserv.”

Login using your last name and FICPA member id. Once the
Listserv opens, click on a conference.

Then click on “New Topic” in the right side of the
discussion topic bar.

Enter the new topic name in the "Topic" field. Keep the
topic name short!

Type in your message.
-
When you complete your message, click “Post.”

Featured Member: Kathryn M. “Kay” Means
Kathryn M. Means, Ph.D., CPA, is a Professor at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. She received her degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her area of specialization is Financial Reporting and Financial Accounting Theory. Her articles have appeared in The Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Accounting Horizons, The Woman CPA, and Management Accounting, among others. She is a member of the American Accounting Association, the AICPA and serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlantic Chapter of the FICPA.
