Jaime Raffo is currently a Senior Internal Auditor for MasTec, Inc., headquartered in Coral Gables, Fl. MasTec is a communications and utility infrastructure company with 8500 employees in 220 offices across the U.S. with an expected revenue of $1.1 billion for 2008. Jamie is involved in conducting operational, financial and compliance audits and he performs testing of internal controls to meet Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements. Jaime’s responsibilities also include:

the development of written findings and recommendations for improvement in operations;

financial control and compliance;

the preparation of analyses showing business impacts from improvements in controls including risk avoidance, indirect financial benefits and direct financial benefits;

participation in meetings and group discussions of results and action plans.
Jaime completed his MBA and BA in Accounting from Florida International University in Miami and has been a CPA since February 2008. Prior to joining MasTec earlier this year, he has held various positions at BellSouth/AT&T, most recently as Network Services Manager, supervising installation and repair technicians.
Jaime has been a member of the FICPA and the Florida Industry Section since 2008.
